Research Interests: Artificial Intelligence, Multi-Agent Systems, Accountability, Responsibility, Software Engineering, Exception Handling
Short Bio
Since my bachelor's studies, I have developed a strong
interest in artificial intelligence, agents, and
multi-agent systems. I find challenging the modeling
of interaction between autonomous agents and their use
in software engineering. At the same time, I am really
interested in the complex relation between AI and
ethics.
I got my M. Sc. Degree in Computer Science in October
2017 at the University of Torino, with a final mark of
110/110 cum laude and special mention and a PhD in
Computer Science at the same university in 2021. In
December 2017 I graduated at the
Scuola di Studi Superiori "Ferdinando Rossi"
of the University of Torino, with a final mark of
70/70 cum laude.
My
PhD thesis, written under the supervision of Professor
Matteo Baldoni, deals with the problem of building robust
multi-agent systems. It proposes an exception handling
mechanism for use in MAS, built upon the notions of
responsibility and reliable feedback.
